About the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino
The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, located
directly on the Las Vegas Strip, is one of the
world’s most luxurious resort and convention
destinations. The Venetian features The Grand
Canal Shoppes, an indoor streetscape complete
with gondolas, serenading gondoliers, street
performers, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, many
highly regarded restaurants with award-winning
chefs, the Guggenheim-Hermitage Museum,
and five acres of swimming pools, spas, and
sunbathing areas overlooking Las Vegas. The
property is just a stone’s throw from other
famous Las Vegas hotels including the Wynn,
Caesars Palace, and the Bellagio. Also of
interest and scheduled to open in December,
2007, is the Palazzo Hotel, which is adjacent
to the Venetian and under the same ownership.
This new resort property will include a 50-floor
luxury hotel tower with more than 3,000 rooms.
When finished, the combined Palazzo, Venetian,
and Sands Expo and Convention Center will be
the largest resort and hotel complex in the world
with more than 7,000 hotel rooms and suites.

There is no need to dwell on the various shows
that Las Vegas has to offer. Such offerings as
Mystere, Mamma Mia, Blue Man Group, and
LOVE Beatles speak for themselves. Be sure to
book early because demand for tickets is very

Celebrity Chefs in Las Vegas
Las Vegas has become one of the culinary
capitals of the country. Don’t forget to sample
some of the fine dining in Las Vegas inspired by
one of the celebrity chefs with restaurants there.
Here is a small sampling of the chefs who have
opened restaurants in Las Vegas: Bradley Ogden,
Wolfgang Puck, Thomas Keller, Emeril Lagasse,
Charlie Palmer, Bobby Flay, Tom Colicchio, and

Tours in the Las Vegas Area
If you get tired of the bright lights, crowds,

visit some of the tourist attractions within easy
driving distance of the city such as Hoover Dam,
Lake Mead, the Grand Canyon, and the Oatman,
Arizona ghost town. The Grand Canyon contains
more than 400 miles of trails and the Grand
Canyon National Park covers 1.2 million acres.
